Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern, and More

Studio 29 Dance Centre is home to many aspiring dancers and dreamers.

We provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each age and skill level. Our deep passion for our craft will engage and challenge your dancer.

WELCOME TO DANCE

All dancers must register in our system before you're able to enroll in classes. Click here to Register.

ENROLLMENT is ongoing for classes with spaces open. Please CHECK EMAIL after enrolling for our automated email verification link with "Opt In Studio 29" in the subject line - that is how you will receive group emails going forward. Email us if you struggle to find your proper classes.

FALL ENROLLMENT OPENS JULY 14, and classes begin AUGUST 11. Ages are based on September 1, 2025. Season ends May 22.

Enrollment & Policies

MONTHLY TUITION PAYMENTS

Tuition for the entire season is broken down into 

equal monthly payments. 1 class is 45-60 minutes.

​

Weekly Classes/Rate per Month for Fall/Spring Season

 

30 min class          $60/month

1 class                   $68

2 classes               $120

3 classes               $165

4 classes               $195

5 classes               $205

6 classes+             $225 (unlimited)

Tuition

LATE PAYMENTS

Tuition payments must be received by the 5th of each month to AVOID a $15 LATE FEE charged to your account. Electronic payments preferred through website or direct at studio if necessary. There is a $35 service fee for all returned transactions.

Late Payments

FAMILY DISCOUNT

When enrolling 2 or more students in a family (parents/siblings only, cousins not eligible), a $10 monthly discount will be applied to the total balance. Dancers must be enrolled in at least a 45-minute class to receive this discount. Tumble students are not eligible for this discount.

Family Discount

PAY-AT-ONCE DISCOUNT

Those who would like to pay for the fall-spring sessions all at once receive a 10% off tuition! Please register in our system, then email with your request. We'll update your account promptly. Discount is valid for those who enroll by October as their first month of the year, but not after.

Pay at Once

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

During our Fall/Spring Season, your dancer's spot is saved for the year. A 30-day written notification of cancellation is required (email will suffice). You are responsible for financial obligations 30 days past notice. Please understand you may lose your spot if another enrolls in your absence if you decide to come back. If paid for the year upfront at a 10% discount, discount is removed before any refund is made.  All tuition otherwise non-refundable.

In Summer - tuition is paid per class or per program as stated.

Dress Code

Dress Code

We ask all dancers in all levels to follow our dress code as it is a part of proper training, and it shows respect for the instructors and for the art form. Instructors cannot correct what they cannot see. Once you decide to commit by enrolling, we ask that you are prepared with the following as soon as possible:

CREATIVE MOVEMENT FOR 2-YEAR-OLDS

Pink-footed tights, pink leather ballet slippers, pink leotard (any style) with no skirt attached, hair off face and neck as possible, and jewelry at home.

BALLET/TAP/PRE-GYM FOR 3 TO 4-YEAR-OLDS

Pink-footed tights, pink leather-ballet slippers (not canvas), black tap shoes (any style), pink leotard (any style) with no skirt attached, hair off face and neck but not in a long ponytail, and jewelry at home except for small post earrings.  Dangling and hoop earrings should not be worn on dance days.  Please leave water bottles in your car.

3 to 4

BALLET/TAP/JAZZ FOR 5 TO 7-YEAR-OLDS

Pink-footed tights, pink leather-ballet slippers (not canvas), black tap shoes (any style), tan slip-on jazz shoes (other color/style also appropriate except for recital/performances), pink or black leotard (any style) with no skirt attached, hair secured back away from face and neck (no long ponytails), and jewelry left at home except for small post earrings.  Dangling and hoop earrings should not be worn on dance days.  Please leave water bottles in your car.

TAP

Oxford style tap shoes (no Mary Janes) any color, comfortable clothing dancer can move in, but tap shoes may not be covered with long clothing. Wear tights or socks to prevent blisters. Hair must be out of face if distracting dancer.

JAZZ PROGRAM

Jazz students enrolled in the jazz program must eventually have flesh-colored slip-on jazz shoes for performances. Any color is fine in class. Bare feet are appropriate at times as well.  Hair secured off face and neck prefered.

 

Jazz 1 - ladies wear black form-fitting top or leotard (no skirt), black form-fitting jazz pants or leggings which cover knees. Jazz pants must be form-fitting enough to know when knees are truly straight, and they should not fall below the ankle bones. Males wear black sweats or shorts with a white form-fitting tee or tank.  Leave water bottles at home.

 

Jazz 2 – ladies wear any color form-fitting top or leotard, and leggings any color which cover knees.  Males wear sweats or shorts with a white form-fitting tee or tank.

 

Jazz 3 and Advanced – form-fitting attire appropriate for moving, sliding, leaping, etc., no extra-loose clothing.  High schoolers may wear low ponies if hair isn't very long.

BALLET PROGRAM

SUMMER ONLY - Tights no required, leggings are fine if a solid color.

 

ALL female ballet students enrolled in Ballet 1 and higher must have pink leather-like ballet slippers, pink footed tights, hair secured off face and neck (no ponies), no jewelry, no skirts, no shorts.
Ballet 1 - Black Leotard Only

Ballet 2 through Advanced - Any Color Leotard (Not If Made For Gymnastics)

Ballet 4/Advanced - Ballet skirts may be worn in Ballet III and higher

ALL Males - White Form-Fitting Tee or Tank, Black Sweats or Shorts, Black or White LEATHER Ballet Slippers for ALL Ballet Classes

HIP-HOP

All hip-hop students must wear CLEAN "sneakers" of some sort to class with socks, clothing in which you can comfortably produce a wide range of movement, jewelry at home. Please respect our studio floor space and change into your shoes reserved for your hip-hop classes, same as you would for ballet or tap.

 

Hippity-hop - CLEAN sneakers, no bare feet please and no dresses. Wear clothing comfortable to move in, leave jewelry at home except for newly-pierced ears, and wear hair off face. Ponytails are acceptable

​

Youth – CLEAN sneakers & no bare feet. Leave jewelry at home except for newly-pierced ears. Put your hair back, please, pony tales are acceptable.

​

Advanced - Swag out with your CLEAN sneakers & bring your brave attitudes, leave insecurities and excuses at home!

TUMBLE

In Tumble, we wear leotards with or without shorts or leggings. Form-fitting tops with shorts or leggings are also acceptable.  No baggy clothing. We go bare-footed with our hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun at the very top of head or very low. Inquire about enrollment in August as classes will begin in September.
