ABOUT US
Studio 29 Dance Centre is a small studio with a big heart located in the Texas Hill Country serving Burnet and surrounding areas operated by Artistic Director Jenn Moore. We begin our youngest dancers at 2 years and continue to nurture their potential beyond grade school and into college. Qualified staff maintain professional development by taking classes and workshops to stay current in the world of dance, while still honoring the basics of technique and sharing the history of the craft.
We view dance as an art form, one which takes time and effort to master. We provide developmentally-appropriate training for dancers who take only one weekly combo class up to the pre-professional students taking 10 and more. We challenge each dancer as an individual, meeting them at their skill level to find a place at the studio which best serves their interests and goals.

COMPANY DANCERS
Studio 29 Dance Centre is home to youth performance companies committed to seeking a deeper meaning of individual movement as artists.
We conduct auditions each summer for the opportunity to be a part of Company Dancer Program, which provides preprofessional training for dancers interested in furthering their pursuit of dance. To be eligible, dancers must have experience taking classes at Studio 29 and a strong interest in representing the studio during opportunities outside of class.
We've had the privilege of performing as guest artists for various events in the Hill Country and Austin/San Antonio areas, and we also attend conventions and other events to further our dance education. Our highest level dancers also attend professional auditions, summer intensives, multiple master classes and other opportunities to learn from seasoned choreographers, artists, and instructors. Our season concludes each summer with Solos & Sojourn - a free evening of dance in the park under the stars. We also seek and create local experiences by bringing in guest artists, and by otherwise educating and challenging our Company Dancers.

Come dance with us! Email to inquire about the various possibilities for your dancer. Make a plan to try out any class appropriate for your dancer’s age and ability. If you decide not to enroll for any reason, then class was on us. There is no financial commitment unless we are a good match for your dancer and you officially enroll. We look forward to meeting you!
