Classes with high-quality instruction are offered for every age and skill level in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, modern, hip-hop, and more. Students have opportunities to perform in formal Nutcracker productions, annual spring recitals, and other local events throughout the year.
SDC also houses youth dance companies; performance-based groups of dancers dedicated to furthering their training/education. The program includes attendance at conventions and master classes, professional dance auditions, public/community performances, and presentation of a formal concert dance program each spring/summer called "Solos & Sojourn." Auditions for SDC Co are July 10-12, 2012.
Instructors are highly-qualified and continue with their education/training to stay completely current in the world of dance.
